Referral will be accepted from
optometrists finding wet ARMD, that is ARMD with fluid and haemorrhage.
Opometrists should use the special wet ARMD form.
Patients must bring a list of all their drugs and their spectacles. |

- visual acuity measured with distance correction
- pupils dilated with tropicamide 1% and phenylephrine 2.5%
- OCT scan
- FFA (fundus fluorescein angiography)
- brief examination with doctor
- no wet ARMD or not eligible..discharged
- wet/dry ARMD... Low Vision Clinic referral
if needed
