  • previous right retinal vein occlusion, 6/24 vision
  • 2010 April
    small left branch retinal vein occlusion
  • grid laser carried out, asked physicians to consider lowering cholesterol (6.0mmol/l). vision 6/12
  • 2010 September
    less retinal oedema on OCT, vision still 6/12 but described as improved
  • Avastin not available, declined, but not recommended (happy with sight, one good eye, etc)
  • it is not clear the laser helped, but for whatever the reason there is an improvement
