Director of Finance Retires

Tim Smythe, Director of Finance, of Good Hope Hospital NHS Trust has announced his decision to retire from the Trust.

David Powell, Acting Chairman of the Trust said "Tim has given over thirty years of service to the NHS and has been employed at Good Hope since 1973. He has been the Director of Finance since the Trust's inception until his retirement and during this time has addressed many challenges both financial as well as management and has always responded appropriately and with enthusiasm. He 'acted up' as Chief Executive for 12 months during a particularly testing time for the Trust. We wish Tim and his family all the best and a happy and contented retirement."
