Playtime is a nursery for children from 0-5 years. We have 4 areas, Babies, Toddlers, 2’s & 3’s, and pre-school. We are open 51 weeks a year excluding bank holidays.

The nursery is situated in a large detached house with garden. It backs on to the Good Hope Hospital site, and can be accessed from there. We have been providing quality childcare for staff and the local community since 1990.

We have excellent inspection reports from OFSTED for both our educational provision (see www.ofsted.gov.uk), and for our transitional inspection. We follow the Department of Education and skills “National Standards”. Our policies and procedures are based on these standards and are available for parents to see.

Opening Hours
0745-1745 Monday-Friday. We close for Bank Holidays and one week at Christmas.

Staff
All our permanent staff hold an early years qualification (NNEB, BTEC, CACHE or NVQ3). The staff are consistent in each group, and every child is allocated a key worker as a first point of contact. We have a low turnover of staff. We also have a music teacher who visits weekly

Meals
The children eat in their groups. Our cook prepares a freshly cooked lunch daily. Menus are displayed and change weekly. Special diets can be
catered for.
