Background
Good Hope Hospital NHS Trust Charitable Fund was registered as an “umbrella charity” with the Charity Commission on 24 September 1996 and granted Registration Number 1058533.

Good Hope Hospital is therefore empowered to accept donations/bequests raise money by charitable appeals and hold funds on trust for charitable purposes relating to its service provision within the NHS.

These funds are over and above the income the Trust receives from the Government via contracts with healthcare commissioners and is therefore a much valued resource to improve the services provided to patients and facilities offered to our staff.

Name a Bed Appeal

• £1,000 names a bed
• Links your name to Good Hope Hospital
• Helps us to provide that extra special treatment and care

All donors to the name a bed appeal have their names recorded on an honours board, which is displayed in a prominent position in the hospital. More information...

Tree of Good Hope Appeal

• £100 buys a leaf for the tree
• A name of your choice is engraved on the leaf
• The leaf is placed on the tree which is displayed in the outpatient reception area

Making a Donation
If you would like to make a donation to the hospital you may do so by any of the following methods:

By debit/credit card
Simply ring the cashiers office 0121 378 2211 ext 2012 and you may make a donation over the telephone quoting your card details and the amount you wish to donate together with details of how you would like your donation to be used. If you would like to make a general donation this is quite in order and the Trustee Committee will decide how best you use your donation for the benefit of the hospital.

By cheque
Cheques should be made payable to Good Hope Hospital NHS Trust Charitable Fund and sent to the:

Your cheque should be accompanied with a notation of how you would like your donation to be used. If no specific instructions are given your donation will be placed in our “General Amenities Fund” and utilised at the discretion of the Trustee Committee.
