Good Hope teamed up with Green and Co - Sutton Coldfield Estate
Agents and Valuers in a valuable fundraising activity on behalf
of the Hospital. Green and Co suggested that to mark their 10th
Anniversary they would contribute £100 to support the hospital
for every successful house sale achieved . The project has been
an amazing sucess and Good Hope has now received £10,000 in
support of Good Hope's "Name a Bed Campaign ". This has
been a real reflection of the generosity and committment of the
partners of Greens as well their clients towards the benefit of
their local hospital.
Edgbaston High School for Girls Junior School have joined up with
Good Hope in a two way project to help the hospital and students
at the school. The pupils have already started on an active fundraising
campaign to improve facilities in the childrens' outpatient department.
This will include making the department more "children friendly",
upgrading the lighting and floor finishes and generall making the
department more attractive and relaxing for childen and parents
too. As part of the two way partnership, girls from Edgbaston High
have a series of planned visits to Good Hope to make them more aware
about how an acute hospital works and the opportunities for employement
and development in the NHS and as doctors and nurses.
