Quest Millennium Award
We are proud to have been awarded a £6000 lottery award in 2001 to enable us to encourage nursery families to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. We bought everyone a compost bin, and paid their subscription to “Action at Home”. We went on a trip to Ryton Organic Gardens. We tried organic food and “real nappies”. That term’s project was about growing things and minibeasts, so we developed a vegetable garden and learnt how plants grow. The project was a great success especially the garden that we plant every year.

Funding from Birmingham early years Partnership
In 2002 we won a successful bid of £4000 to help us increase our number of childcare places. It was used towards the cost of building and equipping our new rooms.
