Organisation of the Trust
The Trust is working in a franchise partnership with the private
sector company, Secta.
The Chief Executive’s role in the Trust is undertaken by
Anne Heast, a Secta employee. The contract between Secta and the
Trust is for three years.
The Trust Board oversees the work of the organisation. Our Trust
Board has five Non-Executive Directors, including the Chairman,
and eight Executive Director posts, including the Chief Executive.
These members of the Trust Board have voting rights and legal responsibility
for oversight of the work of the Trust.

Executive Committee
The Trust, in addition to the Trust Board, has an Executive Committee,
which meets weekly to discuss the strategic and operational issues
of the Trust.
Operational Meetings are held weekly by the Operations Director
and attended by General Managers. These meetings discuss operational
matters within the Trust.
A Joint Management Team meets on a monthly basis to discuss management
matters with Clinicians.
Corporate Governance
The Trust Board, which has adopted the recommended Code of Conduct
for NHS Boards, approved the setting up of the following sub-groups
with powers to act on its behalf:
Remuneration and Terms of Service Committee
Audit Committee
Clinical Governance Committee
Trustee Committee/Investment Panel (governed by the Charity Commissioners)
All the minutes of Trust meetings are available to the public
on request, although we will withhold information that is exempt
from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 or
is personal, is confidential information about individuals
and is protected under the Data Protection Act 1998. Again,
all this information is freely available through our Publication
