6. OUR SERVICES

Clinical Services
The services provided by our Trust are commissioned by other organisations, mainly our partner Primary Care Trusts (PCTs). Many of the decisions about these services are taken in partnership with these organisations, and with other partners including local authorities are service users and carers.

At present Good Hope Hospital NHS Trust provides the following range of services from the Good Hope Hospital site:

Service Developments
We will use this section of the Publication Scheme to inform the public of any proposed service changes or variations in accordance with our duties under section 11 of the Health and Social Care Act 2001. This Act can be found at www.hmso.gov.uk/acts2001/20010015.htm

We will also be using this section to inform the public of the current plans that the Trust has for its services. Many of these plans are developed with local stakeholders including Primary Care Trusts (PCTs), local authorities and service users and carers. If you want to become involved in shaping our services for the future, the Trust and our partners offer several opportunities for you to do so. Some of these opportunities are referred to in Class 9.

Non-clinical services
Some of our non-clinical support services have been dealt with above in Class 1 and under the Governance section of Class 5. Other services provided include procurement, facilities management, environmental management, catering, informatics, human resources and residential accommodation. Some of these services are not directly provided by this Trust but are part of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with other organisations.
